All staff members of Plano Unlimited Sports Academy (Plano USA) are thoroughly screened before employment begins.  In depth back ground checks are done on every staff member as well as references and education checks.  Drug screenings are conducted at our discretion.   All staff is USAG Safety certified.

 

Coaching Staff

Helen Verucchi Women’s Competitive Gymnastics Head Coach & Choreographer.

Born in the USSR, Helen has been coaching for 16 years, and has a Master of Sport in Gymnastics from the USSR.  As a coach in Russia she was responsible for training gymnasts for advancement to the National level.  In Texas, she has coached several North State  & State Champions.  In 2004, with the help of her coaching partners, Helen’s Level 5 Girls Team won every competition and went on to win North State Championships. In 2005, she and her staff added another feather to their cap with their Level 6 team also winning North State Championships. In 2007, Helen with the help of her Partner Valeryi Indyukov qualified four members of their Level Eight Team to Regionals.  Three of their team took home the gold in individual events – vault, beam, and floor; with the fourth bringing home silver on bars.  In the fall of 2007, Helen and her partner added two more all-around North State and State Level 6 Champions to their already impressive list of accomplishments.

Helen likes the personal interaction coaching offers.  Her experience has taught her that gymnastics is both a mental and physical sport.  For her, there is not just one way to teach a skill – there are many ways.  Helen is married with two children.  She enjoys cooking, decorating, and flower arranging, as well as gardening and exercise.

Valeriy Indyukov Women’s Competitve Gymnastics Coach  

Valeriy Indyukov has over 38 years of experience coaching top level men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics.  Valeriy earned his degree in Physical Education.  A gymnast himself, Valeriy participated in the sport from 1957-1977 as an elite gymnast and is a Master of Sport of the USSR.  He has developed a number of top level Russian gymnastics champions such as Evgueni Indyukov – master of sport in the international category and winner of many national and international championships; as well as currently ranked Russian gymnasts:  Anton Lobachyov- National Team member; and Ksenia Semyonova – women’s national team member and the 2007 World Champion on the uneven bars.  Valeriy’s impressive coaching abilities have been recognized in Russia, as well as in Italy.  In 1998 and 1999, he was named “Coach of the Year” in Novomoskovsk, Russia, and in 2001 was qualified to Order #5, which is the highest coaching category in his native country.  With only several months to train his US/Texas Level 8 Team, Valeriy proved his expertise again, with four of his team members medaling at Regionals – 3 Individual Golds and one silver.  Also in 2007, two of his Level 6 gymnasts earned top event placements as well as the coveted all-Around state title.

Valeriy has quickly picked up the English language.  His favorite words are:  Head, Bottom, Chicken, and WOW. He enjoys cooking, Gardening, and spending time with his granddaughter, Dasha.

Evgueni Indioukov Women’s Competitve Gymnastics Coach  A Russian native, Yevgeniy has his university degree from Moscow, is a master of sport in gymnastics in the International Category, has eight years of professional circus experience, and has been successfully coaching gymnastics for 11 years.   Yevgeniy coached seven years at Moscow’s CSCA, considered the best gymnastics club in the world, and has spent the past four years coaching in the United States.  He has quickly made his mark in the sport here in Texas, producing numerous champions that prove his exceptionable coaching abilities:  Lv. 5 State Champions; Lv.6 State Champions; Lv.8 State & Regional Champions; Lv.9 State & Regional Champions, and 3rd Place All-Around, Silver on Bars, and Bronze on Vault at Lv.9 Westerns.

Yevgeniy comes from a family of gymnasts and coaches.  His mother, father, two sisters, and his wife were all gymnasts who later became coaches.  He has been involved in the sport his entire life.  In Yevgeniy’s words, “I know this sport.  I love gymnastics … gymnastics is my life.”  If Yevgeniy had a mission statement it would be that he is open to develop every athlete to there maximum potential.  Yevgeniy lives in Allen with his family.  When he’s not coaching, he likes to spend time with his daughter, and enjoys painting, creating sculpture and building things for his home.

MarinaTatarchina Girls Team Coach,  recreational classes.  Marina Tatarchina brings to the team over 13 years of coaching experience in Russia and the US. In Russia she coached at the Olympic Reserve Gymnastic School for children specializing inpreparing  girls ti national and international Elite gymnastics .Marina developed many state and regional US champions. During her last 7 years coaching in USA Marina prepared many state champions.  As a gymnast Marina was a team member at numerous Regional and all-Russian competitions. She was a winner of Regional and National Russian Competitions. Received the title of Master of Sports.
Lemmy Moore  TAAF Team, recreational gymnastics and tumbling.  He is coming to us from Arkansas where he has coached at the same facility for 21 years. He is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member and Safety Certified.
